Pilates Instructions Levels
BEGINNER LEVEL
Beginner Level applies to those who are new to the Power Pilates method. This may also include those who have been taking Apparatus instruction on a Beginner level to those who are starting transitions into Beginner/Intermediate Level.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Intermediate Level refers to those who recognize the Intermediate Pilates vocabulary and transitions on the mat and who have added the Intermediate Pilates Reformer, Tower and Chair exercises to their practice. The Intermediate Level client is familiar with the settings of the various Apparatus and works with flow from one exercise to another.
ADVANCED LEVELS
Pilates exercises in the Advanced Level refer to those who have progressed with strength and precision through the Intermediate Level exercises on both the mat and all of the Apparatus (cadillac, reformer, tower, chair, ladder barrel and spine corrector barrels). In the Advanced Level are some of the most athletically challenging exercises in both technique and knowledge of Pilates flow and cue. In the Advanced Level the Pedo-Pull is added to the Apparatus instruction.
