ActivCore
What is ActivCore?
ActivCore is a unique system of exercise using ropes and slings suspended from the ceiling that provide controlled instability to challenge the body safely and effectively. An ActivCore trained professional identifies any muscle imbalances or weaknesses and through precise cuing and direction helps the client to achieve optimal performance. Activating the right muscles in the right amount at the right time is key to ActivCore training.
Who is ActivCore appropriate for?
ActivCore exercises are appropriate for people with all levels of physical abilities. Through a technique called “offloading” most exercises can be modified for those who are post-rehab or just have limited physical abilities. This technique takes body weight off the joints during exercises. This creates guided support without strain. Additionally, this offloading technique can be graded so that you can easily remove or allow body weight to be added, therefore working toward strength levels that enable you to hold your entire body weight
during the exercises.
For athletic performance, ActivCore ranks among the highest modalities of exercise for challenging stabilization, core muscle strength and multi-planar movement. Olympic athletes in Europe have long included ActivCore training in their preparation for competition.
How do I get started with ActivCore?
We recommend getting started with an ActivCore Introductory Package of three {3} sessions. Our ActivCore trained professionals will identify any weak links in your body and safely instruct you in a pain-free environment. You will feel a difference from your first session.
